The Guild of Clinton promotes the
shopping, dining, services and culture of historic downtown Clinton.

The Clinton Guild is a not-for-profit group that was formed in 1972 and consists of more than 70 local merchants and business owners. Our goal is to promote our unique village and all it has to offer to residents and visitors alike.

Serving the Community for Over 40 Years!

The Guild of Clinton is a non-profit, independent organization of

business, professional, and interested persons formed to enhance the

cultural and historical heritage of the Town of Clinton and the stimulation of the economy.

Benefits to Members and the Community at Large:

Co-operative Advertising: Free or discounted display advertising in local and regional newspa-pers, magazines and online which, if contracted individually, would cost significantly more. Positively promote the Town of Clinton.

Promotional Events: From Sweethearts Week in February through to Dickens Days in December and all events in between, along with monthly themed promotions are all carried out solely through the work of Guild Volunteers. A task that literally adds up to hundreds of hours, of which without that effort, these well established events would not exist.

Clinton Come Together: Celebrate Summer with multiple live musical performances throughout town each Friday between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend.

Publication in the Annual Brochure and Online Presence: Each year 5,000 professionally designed and printed brochures are distributed throughout New Jersey with member businesses and event schedule. In addition members are listed, and the Town of Clinton, promoted through social media channels and a professionally curated website with all with the Visit Clinton NJ brand.

Town and Regional Representation: The Town of Clinton designates a Council Member to join each Guild meeting and build a solid relationship between the Guild and the Town. In addition the Guild advocates for business at the County and State levels.

Town Beautification: The members of the Guild donate their time and resources to keep Main Street weed free, maintain decorative plantings and decorate for holidays from Flag Day to Christ-mas.

Membership in Other Organizations: As a member of the Guild you are also a member of the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce for networking and educational events.

Business Support: The Guild is your business network providing resources on business grants, loan opportunities and offering assistance grants for disasters and business disruptions.
